We've just about finished what will be the first tune on our next album. It's called All Over, and you can listen to it here.

Well....
We played our first gig on 31 January, supporting Molly Jones and Lee Southall at The Trades Club, Hebden Bridge. It was OK, but we could do better! We had expected a small audience, given that we were in the support slot, but it didn't work out that way - firstly the gig featured as pick of the week in the Guardian's gig guide (because of Molly and Lee, not us) and on M & L's facebook page they said that they would be on stage at 8.30, which was actually when we played. So when we came on there must have been 150 people out there.

We did some tunes with a backing track, and some with just the two of us. We learned quite a lot - I learned it's better to use the house PA direct for my guitar, rather than mic up a little Street Cube amp, and that preparing and using a backing track takes a lot of care and attention to detail. You'll have to ask Steve what he learned...

For me the best song of the evening was My Place. The audience was OK - they applauded, but next time we will be better. In the meantime, we're busy recording stuff for our second album. We have three tunes almost finished and more in the pipeline.

We're hoping to feature on Sound Shack's CD/fanzine soon - more on that later.
